Horiana is a consulting company dedicated to epidemiology and biostatistics, designing and conducting healthcare real-world Studies. Horiana aims to support its clients – private and public/academic professionals in the healthcare field – at all stages of their projects.

We are currently expanding our team with a full-time permanent position for a Medical Writer (M/F). The position is based in Bordeaux (33) or remotely, depending on the profile of the candidate.

Job Overview

Your position as Senior Medical Writer will enable you to put your expertise to good use in writing deliverables relating to real-world or clinical studies (synopsis, protocols, clinical study reports and scientific publications).

Profile

• MSc in epidemiology/public health, healthcare administration, or related field. A Doctorate degree (PhD, MD, PharmD) is preferred.
• At least 5y of experience in medical writing in the healthcare sector, ideally within the CRO/pharma industry
• Strong knowledge of medical writing principles, methods, and techniques
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Fluency in English and another language is a plus
• Ability to identify priorities and to anticipate potential issues
• Strong team spirit

Missions

• Write scientific manuscripts and abstracts
• Write and ensure the content and quality of protocols, clinical study reports, non-clinical reports and other deliverables in various therapeutic areas.
• Prepare training materials
• Participate in the optimisation of our standards
• Participate in project proposals writing, and in presenting the operational part to the clients
• Prepare and facilitate kick-off and scientific board meetings
